Position Summary

Job Summary: The primary role of the Loss Prevention Manager is to contribute to the success of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc by monitoring processes to reduce financial losses.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

  • Interpret information from reporting systems and utilize data to discover areas of possible theft or fraud
  • Investigate known or suspected theft or fraud
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies as necessary to investigate or report suspected theft or fraud
  • Observe, monitor, track and/or identify compliance standards
  • Document standard deficiencies resulting in possible losses through written, verbal, photographic and/or video methods
  • Follow up with Owner and/or DBRI staff as necessary to ensure corrective action are completed
  • Complete compliance audits and memorandums documenting all findings
  • Recommend methods to reduce potential financial fraud losses or reduce risk exposure
  • Maintain detailed documentation or reports on incidents and/or investigations
  • Prepare meticulous post-audit reports outlining all deficiencies and any deviation from the company standards; provide intuitive information in post-audit meetings
  • Create action plans for correcting deficiencies
  • Discuss and follow up on action plans providing regular updates to Operational Leadership
  • Perform covert surveillance as necessary
  • Complete follow up visits to ensure all previously found deficiencies are resolved as necessary
  • Maintain all appropriate paperwork
  • Achieve all position required results consistently
  • Maintain compliance with job description in all areas while further building the brand
