Position Summary

The primary role of the Project Manager-Vendor Specialist is to contribute to the success of the Development Department by working directly with Owner/Operators (O/O’s) and Vendors to manage the development of new Dickey’s Restaurants with a focus on cost, time, and scope.  The Vendor Specialist reports directly to the Sr. Development Manager and works with the Pre-Construction team. They will also work closely with the Real Estate and Construction team. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Manage vendors to ensure stores receive quotes and payments in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure vendors are sending product out to the store in a timely fashion and follow the construction sign off date.
  • Build and manage relationships with Owner/Operators, General Contractors and in some cases Landlords.
  • Receive and upload pictures of any item that is related to a vendor install by the necessary date.
  • Provide up to date NST’s for each store.
  • Working closely with Construction team on any issues that may arise.
  • Ensures that you are on track to hit 12+ stores a month.
  • Completes weekly status calls with O/O’s and provides positive feedback to O/O’s and team.
  • Be fanatic about monthly commitments.
  • Responsible for taking your commitments from beginning to end successfully while hitting interim benchmarks.
  • Resolve all issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with departments regarding any potential problems/delays.
  • Always follow-up before status of a task is inquired about
  • Follow up with supervisor immediately or within the same day with a situation(s) you need guidance on or are unfamiliar with.
  • Maintain compliance with the above job description for all areas.
  • Assist supervisor with any job duties necessary for the success of the department
  • Commit to any time necessary to fulfill the job requirements and work product
