Position Summary

Job Summary: The primary role of the Franchise Sales Lead Specialist is to contribute to the success of the franchise development department by bringing in new and quality leads for franchise sales team and by pushing team for performance daily.  The Franchise Sales Lead Specialist reports directly to the Vice President of Franchise Sales & Real Estate. To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;

  • Research and negotiate new avenues for lead advertisement.
    • Negotiate directly with the vendor.
    • Create legal requests to review the contract.
    • Work with accounting to ensure that payment information is correctly configured.
    • Responsible for staying current with franchise sales trends and be a subject matter expert in marketing and lead generation.
  • Monitor and evaluate lead advertisements.
    • Send press releases to portal websites.
    • Analyze invoices and number of leads to ensure accuracy.
    • Return bad leads to portal websites for refunds.
    • Analyze tracking reports on the prospects who leave portal websites to “submit a request for consideration” on (only for applicable websites).
    • Optimize our campaigns on all portal websites and hold vendors accountable for problems that may exist.
    • Serve as the main contact for franchise sales to all lead advertisement sources.
  • Help and monitor the construction of E-blasts/E-newsletters for distribution to potential prospects.
    • Negotiate dates for the campaign.
    • Fine tune details for the campaign (content, creative).
    • Monitor progress and ensure that deadlines are being met.
  • Use old creatives/content for e-blast campaigns to dead and nurture leads that we have in our CRM system. (FranConnect experience preferred)
  • Locate alternative sources for leads and create ads for lead advertisement
  • Create daily reports (charts, tables, graphs) evaluating the performance of all lead advertisements.
  • Assist in holding sales team accountable for daily commitments and deals.
  • Ensure sales team follows FTC franchising regulations.
  • Update spreadsheet of all locations (open and undeveloped).
    • New undeveloped territories (DA and FA).
    • New addresses for undeveloped territories.
    • Update map with new information.
  • Manage the advertisement/lead generation budget for franchise sales.
  • Create applications that will aid franchise sales and real estate.
  • Research and negotiate features that will improve performance in the franchise sales department (e.g., new call center, new CRM center).
    • Ensure that franchise sales needs are being met.
