    Position Summary

    Network Administrator

    • Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
    • Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
    • Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor.
    • Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
    • Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references and support.
    • Upgrades network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
    • Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
    • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

    Network Security Specialist

    • Manage user accounts in Active Directory
    • Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
    • Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations.
    • Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
    • Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
    • Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls.
    • Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status.
    • Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
    • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Maintain endpoint security system

    Desktop Support

    • Continuous learning to improve performance
    • Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction
    • Performs Inventory systems programming tasks including but not limited to creation & maintenance of ingredients, recipes and products, creation & maintenance of user accounts and creation & maintenance of restaurant locations and company hierarchy.
    • Inventory and records maintenance.
    • Provide desktop support in an office environment
    • Support Desktops, Laptops, mobile devices and peripherals
    • Support Business and Productivity Software
    • Provide face-to-face and remote end user support
    • Asset tagging, inventory, procurement of new devices.
    • Administration of Windows/Mac domain and accounts.
    • Installation, testing, maintenance, repair and networking of computers. 




    • Bachelor's degree or extensive professional experience.
    • 5 years previous field training delivery experience required.
    • Extremely detail oriented with a high level of organization.
    • Independent thinker and excellent problem solver. Able to acquire new skills and knowledge “on the fly” in order to resolve issues with new and unfamiliar systems.
    • Able to juggle multiple high priority tasks.
    • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
    • Restaurant, hospitality or retail experience required.
    • Proficiency in standard office equipment and computer software including Microsoft Office.
    • Working knowledge of small network environments including TCP/IP, DNS, routers, switches, and Ethernet.
    • Able to work independently as well as on teams.
    • Prior Aloha Enterprise maintenance experience is preferred.
