    Position Summary

    The Vice President of Construction is directly responsible for implementing all construction initiatives to ensure the rapid store growth of the company. The Vice President of Construction reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Development and works with all members of these teams.


    • Successfully coach all project managers in completing 12-15 stores a month.
    • Responsible for overall success of the Project Managers.
    • Enforce project deadlines. Must be fanatic about dates.
    • Continue to grow and expand the general contractor program alongside the GC specialist.
    • Have 1 hour weekly team training class with project managers.
    • Required to bring store completions issues to Senior VP of Development as arise.
    • Create agenda and run daily/weekly department meetings to discuss action plans, permitting issue resolutions, and every store's progress in the pipeline to ensure proper movement is taking place.
    • Engage in constant communication with various departments to ensure success of the New Store Development Department.
    • Responsible for all segments of construction department meeting their month goal.
    • Coach Project Managers on the construction process, establishing Owner/Operator relationships and being proactive with issues.
    • Become point of contact for Project Management to assist with any escalation issues and see through completion.
    • Conduct random audits on store files to ensure every step of the process is being followed.
    • Ensure all Project Managers are properly trained and there is consistent use of the Brand Standards.
    • Responsible for the following the new store timelines and department process.
    • Adhere to all daily paperwork deadlines and ability to multi task daily administrative requirements with leadership responsibilities.
    • Communicate all store issue and employee issues to Senior Vice President of Development.
    • Effectively manages team, delegates work assignments, inspires and motivates others to perform well
    • Handles all Dickey family requests and affairs as priority and with discretion
    • Always follow-up before status of a task is inquired about.
    • Responsible for applying system of commitments in all segments.
    • Assist supervisor with any job duties necessary for the success of the department.
    • Research and Negotiate contracts for equipment or build out materials as needed.
    • Commit to time necessary to fulfill the job requirements and work product
