    Position Summary

    The role of the Project Coordinator is to coordinate the departmental projects:  Requirements gathering, project planning, setting and maintaining timelines, documentation, internal and external communication, meeting facilitation, escalations, status updates, executive sign-offs, and provide training assistance when needed.

     

    Reporting to the VP of IT & Development, this successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to facilitate projects within the company. This candidate will also have strong presentation and communication skills as well as be able to work independently while striving in a team environment. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for creating a project plan for each project--managing each project from start to finish
    • Tracks daily tasks of each project and communicates when a task/project becomes off-track
    • Holds weekly status meetings to communicate project progression, updates and/or changes
    • Coordinates needed activities, additional resources, unknown information with business stakeholder
    • Works closely with business stakeholder in order to obtain specific answers to ask business questions in order to work with the IT team to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
    • Monitors and tracks project’s progress and handle any issues that arise
    • Acts as the point of contact and communicates project status adequately to all participants
    • Issues all appropriate legal paperwork and gets needed information to appropriate parties
    • Reports and escalates to management as needed
    • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
    • Coordinates tasks as it relates to project on the IT roadmap
    • Follow up with aging or pending internal tickets
    • Holds daily calls with offshore team for task follow-up
