    Position Summary

    Job Summary

    The Project Manager is responsible for working directly with Owner/Operators (O/O’s) to manage the development of new Dickey’s Restaurants with a focus on cost, time, and scope. The Project Manager reports directly to the Sr. Project Manager and VP of Development.

     

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Must ensure all projects complete on-time.
    • Guide the O/O through the development of their store from the time the Franchise Agreement is signed to the day the store opens for business.
    • Managing relationships with Owner/Operators, General Contractors, and in some cases Landlords to ensure the project happens on time and in budget
    • Work closely with Pre-Construction Team to meet completion date.
    • Complete weekly status calls with O/O’s to ensure they are aware of what is required to complete the project on time and what they need from our team and the GC.
    • Work closely with the city offices to ensure inspections requirements are met and times are verified for each project.
    • Communicate and resolve issues in a timely manner following all department SOP’s
    • Possible travel to existing and upcoming stores may take place for training purposes, potentially to meet project completion dates.
    • Handle all Dickey family requests and affairs as priority and with discretion
    • Always follow-up before status of a task is inquired about
    • Follow up with supervisor immediately or within the same day with a situation(s) you need guidance on or are unfamiliar with
    • Maintain compliance with the above job description for all areas
    • Assist supervisor with any job duties necessary for the success of the department
    • 25% travel for store related travel and events
    • Commit to any time necessary to fulfill the job requirements and work product

    Goals: 

    • Complete All Stores under construction on time.
    • Build Relationship with O/O and secure their “buy in” of the entire development process.
    • Establish overall timeline and key benchmarks with O/O and GC to follow.
    • Work closely with Pre-Construction team; projects timeline is PM responsibility.
    • Complete Due Diligence early on with GC and O/O to ensure there are no delays.
    • Offer ideas to improve communication and/or improve efficiency
