    Position Summary

    The Vice President of International Franchise Development is responsible for developing, cultivating, and selling international franchise locations. You will identify markets and potential Owner/Operators within and will build and manage a pipeline and track new franchise opportunities through the sales process for Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the sales cycle with potential international franchise owners 
    • Act as liaison during and after sales process to ensure timely and accurate execution of contracts
    • Manage all functions of international development
    • Drive all conversations continuously throughout Franchise Sales process, i.e., cold calls, weekly pipeline- update calls and sales strategy meetings, regarding future franchise sales and projected closings
    • Guide the application process, perform appropriate due diligence, review legal documents, negotiation of terms and coordinate the timely movement of documents to the final contract signing 
    • Meet sales goals within designated time frames 
    • Coordinate the execution of approval and authorization documents
    • Ability to learn and understand the brand and communicate the opportunity to potential Owner/Operators 
    • Responsible for arranging initial meetings with Potential Owner/Operators 
    • Communicate status and report progress daily
    • Coordinate one potential franchise owner to visit to our corporate office a week

     

    Experience and Requirements: 

    • 4+ years of any combination of sales experience and education 
    • Previous franchise and/or restaurant industry experience is useful
    • 4+ years in International Development experience is required
    • Verbal and written communication skills to convey the business sales strategy
    • Display high moral ethics and display the capacity to lead through critical thinking and problem solving/analysis  
    • Strong social skills while working in open work space environment
    •  Presentation and facilitation skills
    • Heavy phone experience with strong negotiation skills 
    • Flexibility to identify and respond quickly to changes and priorities in a rapid growth environment
