    Position Summary

    The Vice President of manufacturing oversees all manufacturing operations to ensure production meets the required deadlines, quality standards and is completed within the operational budget. 


    The director of manufacturing oversees all manufacturing personnel.

    • Select, hire, and train new employees in collaboration with the HR department
    • Appoint managers and supervisors
    • Evaluate employees monthly and ensure standards of performance are met within the manufacturing group
    • Assign responsibilities to supervisors and employees on the production line for each manufacturing project


    Production environments must meet quality standards to produce safe, quality products.

    • Implement quality-control programs and policies
    • Analyze production budgets and make changes as necessary
    • Oversee the workers and the process to ensure safety procedures are followed and performance goals are met
    • Create production reports for review by top executives
    • Responsible for ensuring all orders are shipped on time and at budget
    • Responsible for creating and executing environmental, health, and safety programs
    • Accountable for indoctrinating EHS programs in the company culture
    • Must keep inventory under control
    • Required to have 5S program
    • Accountable for finding new efficiency in job processes on the floor
    • Must manage company proforma and meet or beat monthly number
    • Oversee quality program
