    Position Summary

    Welcome to Dickey's Barbecue! The primary role of the General Manager is to contribute to the success of the team and is responsible for the overall operations of the restaurant.
     
    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Full unit accountability for sales and profitability unit(s) through direct management
    • Interpret information from reporting systems and utilizing the data to coach and adhere to operational standards and business model; adjust actions as necessary to improve when needed
    • Fully maintain compliance with all company operations model and brand standards
    • Hire and lead positions of Pit Crew, Pit Master and Pit Boss
    • Provide excellent guest service through operation excellence of the store and crew
    • Rely on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals for the team
    • Achieve positive sales growth year over year
    • Pursue new catering and sales opportunities (in store/community marketing) by utilizing marketing brand standards and initiatives
    • Meet or exceed all KPI
    • Lead, motivate and instill excellence in all crew
    • Conduct shift meetings twice daily
    • Positively lead and direct the work of others
    • Maintain all company equipment and safeguard company assets
    • Maintain a clean driving record and have reliable transportation
    • Follow up with supervisor immediately or not later within the same day with any situation(s) you need guidance on or are unfamiliar with
    • Maintain compliance with the above job description for success of the store(s), crew and department
