Position Summary

Job Overview

As a Network Administrator at Dickey’s, your role will be foundational in supporting our IT infrastructure. You will assist in managing network equipment, maintaining PCs, and contributing to various IT support activities.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:

Network Equipment Assistance:

  • Assist in updating and maintaining network hardware, including servers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Support the monitoring of virtual machines to ensure optimal performance.

PC and Server Support:

  • Assist in monitoring, repairing, and updating corporate PCs, including remote systems.
  • Assist in responding to security alerts and performing routine system maintenance.

Communication Support:

  • Aid in interfacing with external support entities and acting as a supportive liaison for network-related communications.

Backup and Data Support:

  • Assist in managing backups and ensuring data integrity.

Policy and Account Assistance:

  • Support in administering user accounts across various platforms including but limited to Active Directory, Azure Active Directory/Entra, VOIP, ticketing system, and password managers.

Documentation Assistance:

  • Contribute to the documentation of network infrastructure and systems.

Security and Disaster Recovery Support:

  • Assist in managing email security tools and participating in disaster recovery planning.

Asset and Vendor Support:

  • Help maintain network component inventory and assist in vendor relations.

Training and Reporting Support:

  • Support in identifying cybersecurity training needs.
  • Assist in tracking technology licenses and subscriptions.

Operational Support:

  • Contribute to ensuring internal systems operate securely and efficiently.
  • Admin and monitor support ticket system for corporate users and resolve issues according to SLAs.
  • Assist in ensuring all corporate systems run securely and perform as needed with minimal downtime with swift remediation of any found issues.
  • Local travel between sites to maintain environment is required.

Qualifications

  • Foundational Knowledge in Directory Services: Proficient with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory/Entra for basic user and group management, permissions setting, and group policies, with an understanding of key security practices.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.) and their application in managing and troubleshooting network operations.
  • Proficient in configuring and managing Microsoft 365 Services including (but not limited to), License Administration, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel locally for support activities.
  • Microsoft Azure Experience is a plus.
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus.
