Position Summary

This role will be responsible to implement and manage benefit plans (i.e. health insurance, retirement plans, etc.), workers comp and unemployment processes and programs. It further will be responsible to ensure Company adheres to relevant regulations and laws around those programs. This role will assist with payroll as necessary.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:

  • Plan administration
    • Oversee day-to-day operations including but not limited to enrollment, claims management and invoice auditing
    • Manage vendor relationships and hold vendors accountable
    • Communicate eligibility and plans to employees
  • Cost analysis and budgeting
    • Monitor costs
    • Identify cost-savings opportunities
    • Provide monthly and ad-hoc reporting as requested
  • Compliance and reporting management
    • Adhere to all federal, state and local regulations
    • Complete all monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting requirements
  • Claims processing
    • Establish and maintain case files, logs and documentation
    • Verifies and investigates job-related incidents
    • Review reports and communicate with employees, leadership and healthcare professionals
    • Review and assess unemployment and workers comp claims
    • Manage employer accounts for unemployment and workers compensation
  • Payroll processing
    • Process payroll
    • File reports

 

Skills Required

  • Strong excel knowledge required
  • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
  • Ability to interpret data, analyze trends and make recommendations based on findings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understand and communicate relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of financial concepts
  • Restaurant experience desired but not required
  • Must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced Dallas office environment
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish desired but not required
