Position Summary

Job Summary

As a key member of the Marketing team, you will be responsible for market level performance by orchestrating local marking initiatives that boost in store traffic, check counts, and sales. You will be tasked to craft and implement innovative, impactful solutions tailored to local markets while championing the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit brand and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.  You will play a highly visible and critical role to the Marketing team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and implement local marketing strategies resulting in increased revenues, checks, and ROI.
  • Empower Owner Operators and regional team to execute compelling campaigns by developing Local Store Marketing playbooks and sharing best practices that streamline execution and deliver results.
  • Ideate, plan, and implement email marketing, SMS, and APP programs from beginning to end for DMA.
  • Maximize ROI of new store openings by providing your expertise to boost visibility, increase guest engagement, and improve long-term success.
  • Improve marketing effectiveness and elevate future strategies by measuring current program results, generating actionable insights, and developing initiatives for performance enhancements.
  • Action on data from digital marketing efforts based on promotions, product, audience, and segment level to optimize spend and marketing performance
  • Evolve our media presence; including, but not limited to, retail media programs, omni channel strategies and implementation of new emerging channels.
  • Develop and own regional marketing channel annual calendar and communications.
  • Partner with internal teams, senior leadership, and media agencies to optimize marketing and social media strategies to achieve sales objectives.
  • Increase new customer acquisition and reengagement strategies & performance across web & app.
  • Clearly & concisely present digital insights, both written an in verbal form, at any level of the organization.
  • Use advanced analytical skills to monitor trends, diagnose problems and surface opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and drive team alignment on business objectives.
  • Use social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand.
  • Work with creative department to develop organic social media marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs.
  • Plan and execute custom online promotions for the Dickey’s Family of Brands with a heavy focus on check driving.
  • Plan and buy media within approved budget across social channels, own elements of planning and execution.
  • Report on campaign performance with the ability to distill and curate insights and findings.
  • Analyze engagement data. Set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as a target number of likes or shares for social media campaigns.
  • Research, write, edit, and proofread content including, but not limited to, articles, marketing material, infographic copy and social media postings.
  • Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts.
  • Provide and report on campaign and promotion performance.
  • Analyze and report frequently upon success metrics.
