Position Summary

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Receive, enter, and process purchase orders and shipments. 
  • Schedule and confirm orders arrive to end customer before due date.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide status updates, and communicate potential delays or issues. 
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints or issues related to orders, shipments, or product delivery. 
  • Monitor and track the progress of shipments, ensuring timely delivery and efficient transit. 
  • Work with internal operations teams, carriers, and logistics partners to schedule pickups, deliveries, and manage logistics. 
  • Calculate and provide rate quotes to customers and prospects. 
  • Assist with preparing necessary shipping documents, such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and arrival notices. 
  • Prepare and provide reports to management or customers on various aspects of the orders.
  • Reconcile bill of ladings, purchase orders and invoices regularly.
  • Maintain and build trust and goodwill with clients and other stakeholders, including carriers. 
  • Prepare and ship customer samples as needed.
  • Hire, train, and manage demo team members.
  • Complete audits, creating actionable steps to increase sales. 
  • Pack shipments.
  • Support cuttings and tastings.
  • Manage projects and team responsibilities, following up to ensure successful and timely completion. 

*This is an in-office role based in Dallas, TX. It will require some travel. No relocation package is being offered.
