Position Summary

This role will lead the routine functions of the HR Department to include payroll, employment policies and procedures, employee relations programs and practices, enforcing company policies and practices, compliance and administering benefits and/or leave procedures.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
  • Represent the Company in employment activities.
  • Source, recruit, hire and onboard employees.
  • Handle investigations, discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes.
  • Ensure adherence to employee handbook and Company SOP.
  • Collect, calculate and enter/update data into payroll system for all exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Collect, validate and report timekeeping data.
  • Develop and maintain company and department records and reports.
  • Perform benefits administration.
  • File all necessary compliance reports.
  • Translate as necessary.

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience
  • Ability to write and converse in both Spanish and English
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work cross-functionally
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Manufacturing experience desired but not required
